Olympic Cocktail Mixing Games

On Friday September 14th, 2012 Dodgy Dock hosted the “Olympic Cocktail Mixing Games” to honor all the athletes who represented Grenada at the 2012 London Olympic Games. Bartenders from various hotels in Grenada were invited to compete to make the best “Respect the Nutmeg” and “Gear Shifter” drinks.

The search was on for the best cocktail and the participants did not disappoint. Using fresh fruit sponsored by the Marketing and National Importing Board, local rums from Westerhall Rum Distillery, spices and other ingredients the participants blended, shook and stirred varying combinations to produce some innovative cocktails.
