Life Springs forth After The Squall At True Blue Bay Resort
This week in Grenada we had rain like we had even seen in years. The just kept falling and falling. In a matter of hours we were driving through waters up to our head lights. Its amazing to see how the waters can rise so fast since Grenada is a hilly country.
The next day when I looked up at the sky I saw the thick rain clouds leaving Grenada slowly drifting away while the aroma of fresh flowers filled the air at True Blue. Well you should guest what happened next. I immediately rain for my camera to take pics.
I was at peace. They was great pleasure taking photos of these beauty flowers that were in full blossom all over true blue.
Our Bayview Pool – Paradise!!!
When I took this shot its now, looking back at it realize its more than just another shot. This one is special. I could not explain what I was feeling. It deep, after some days of thinking one word came to me. Paradise! Yes Paradise. You literally want to stop what you are going and jump straight into the water without any thinking!! You feel as if you there!! All you wait is to be at this place, now!! To swim in the crystal water, looking at the blue sky with the unique wooden building in the background. The pic has that such powerful life in it. It touch me in way where I appreciate the thriller you experience you visit a beautiful place. There are many beautiful places in the world but no place like Grenada, true blue!. We have a unique beauty. A welcoming friendly peaceful place where we want to feel at home. I place where time does not exist. A place where all you want to hear is the sound of the gentle breeze and feel the water warm water on your skin and wish you can be there forever. That is what a vacation is about. Amazing and beautiful, unique are just words limited by the English dictionary. When you experience it then being in awe is understatment.
Amazing Sunsets In Grenada Last Weekend
The one question my family oversees keep asking me is “When are you coming to the US to stay?”. You know I could not give an answer and I did not know why it now. I always thought that I can make it in Grenada, be successful cause I don’t what to leave Grenada. To travel means leaving this beautiful island. So much beauty. Its all over; Look up, Look down, look across. Its all over. The peace of mind you get is it worth leaving? You guys reading this most definitely thinking VACATION TIME IN GRENADA. Well, guys I sincerly welcome you. As I am here, lived hear all my life and I am not leaving soon lol. I can show you pieces for the amazing beauty of why I cannot leave Grenada and encourage you to come and visit and hopeful stay.
The afternoon in took these shots. I was sailing in true blue bay then I saw the faint colors of purple and orange in the sky so I thought to myself. Its going to have an amazing sunset today. Immediately I head for shore, ran to the office picked up my camera then drove to Grand Anse Beach. When I got there I was excited with what I saw. Another amazing sunset in Grenada. WOW!!.
Then I thought that if its possible for me to get the sunset at different locations? Well let me give it a try. I speedy drove down to Morne Rouge Beach. Wow! I said, The drive was worth it!

Grenada Spice Mas Carnival 2011 By True Blue Bay Resort
Spice Mas Grenada 2011 was one to remember. The spirit of carnival was present at every event. It was crime free and every one had a wonderful time. We in Grenada proudly boast that we have the best Jouvert. Even Iwer George, Trinidad Soca Artist implied it in his song “Come to me” in which he second in Trinidad’s International Soca 2011. This year we had the traditional Jab Jab (People painted in used car engine oil), the paint jab jab bands (Blue, Red and Green), the mud jab jab, short knee and Ole Mas. The biggest band was the Digicel Summercrew Band in their red paint as it was combined with St.George’s University Students and Locals.
This year Monday Night Mas Route was extended. It started at Foodfair shopping center and ended at the Carenage, approximately 6 miles. It was the best as people had more space to enjoy them selves.
This years pretty mas we had beautiful sunny weather. First time we had a Trinidadian percussion band. The bands were a bit smaller about the spirit of carnival prevailed.

Amazing Weather At True Blue Bay
Its sad to that while North America is being hammered by Hurricane Irene, we in Grenada is experiencing this amazing weather. Super clear skies and water. When I came to work yesterday I was in awe in how beauty the weather was. I got so excited to take pics that I forget to close my car. I ran down into the office, grab my camera and ran down to true blue first point.
The wind was just cool and soft as it gently pass over my face and hair. I immediately forget time existed. For about an hour I was just snaping away with my camera. I hope you enjoy the pics as much as our twitter and facebook followers.
